You two are a great team. Your frequent contact to the community through KZbin is a big confidence builder. Your installation videos are an incredible resource for all aircraft builders/owners/maintainers.

This is great. You definatly dont see Rotax, or any of the other large engine companies caring about their customers this much. As we all have stated many -many times. I love working with you both and look forward to hanging with the Viking family at Oskosh 22.

This is exactly the type of video I'm looking for when choosing an engine for a plane I want to have, from being 15 and and not having any thing to do with Aviation but this is cool
@huckjones95212 жыл бұрын
also separate from the video's talking points, could you use one of these engine in a pusher configuration like in a Rutan Long ez or something?
@eggenfellner2 жыл бұрын
Yes, we have them installed in a Cozy, Varieze, and a fella is installing one in a Velocity. We also have about 25 of them in PPC all slow moving Pusher.

Heard about this engine a year back or two, and intuitively felt that is a great idea. And then one can also think not just feel that there are more cars than planes, therefore more eyeballs and minds working out the kinks. So to me this is the engine, the others are the cop outs. All that's left is the commitment to study and pass the exams, then find the plane where this would go in to get as many knots as possible out of a 195. Then assembling that kit, so there are a few problems to solve before I get to hear this baby purr. Definitely people should want the car engine - car engines are are designed to last a long time not to shed the weight. The F1 one engine designed for exactly 300 laps which was squeezed of every possible ounce of weight. I like me a more hefty engine that can withstand a bruising.

Wouldn't it be funny if a car manufacturer built a new car, and put carburetted engine in it :D

They never move backwards. Can barely get anything with stick shift either. Fuel efficiency is key for them.
