Thanks to these brothers. Really was informative. What was lacking was that they should have kept water for the speakers! Looks like David needed that water, he was visibly finding it difficult to speak.

Dayananda Rao It is after effect of surviving throat cancer. The mouth functions very dry. So, he has to build up force to speak, that's why he took time.

The problem in most companies is that everyone is overwhelmed and just trying to keep their heads above water. Coming in with creative ideas feels like piling on to them.

The Google facilitator is way too uptight and uninteresting to enjoy watching. I wish he were a far better communicator and interviewer because it was painful to watch him facilitate. The two gentlemen interviewed are far superior in their skills and deserved to have been interviewed by an engaging and interesting interviewer/facilitator. I love watching the Google Talks but I find that most of the facilitators are awkward and uninspiring. I would recommend they join a quality group of Toastmasters International and work on polishing their communication skills.
