Ben White literally just had knee surgery so he couldn’t play anyway but they still talk about him every international break. He has made his opinion clear, he doesn’t want to play for England. He tried it, and for whatever reason they sent him home and maybe he just doesn’t want to try again. It’s up to him! He's not coming back....he doesn't want to play for England, he only plays club football because he gets paid and is rather decent at it. It's well documented that he doesn't follow football, and has never watched a game in his life. Nothing wrong with that. All it is to him is a job, and it very pays well. It wouldn't be the first sportsman or women that does it because of this. There's absolutely loads of them. Take Ronnie O Sullivan for example, arguably the greatest player to ever pick up a cue, hates snooker finds it really boring (again well documented) only plays it because he's rather good at it and it pays the bills and then some.

As a Scotsman, Harry Kane can’t criticise anyone for choosing club over country considering he has never challenged for anything at club level except 1 champions league trophy and failed.
