What motivation will such a player have when you give him that contract. 350k for Bruno in the summer while’s Chelsea offered Palmer 120k incentivized deal. 200k for Anthony. Sancho is playing happily at Chelsea for less than half what United paid him. That’s the problem with United.

100%, misprofiling recruitments was also a big problem imo due to the Glazers since a long time. Like they signed big name players throughout the last decade just for their marketing value instead of pairing the right set of players with the managers. Units were a poor team before Ferguson and poor team after. Just because you had a good 15 years with one Manager does not make you a great club. He built the club out of 13 years of winning titles but since that you’ve done nothing. In fact before those titles you had less titles than Arsenal or Chelsea for that matter. The issue is not “these players”. (Rashford, Bruno, Maguire and Lindelof who on several occasions have finished 2and 3rd in the league. The issue is with who you replaced Cavani, Martial, Greenwood and De Gea etc with. United did not recruit better, or even at the same level. In Hojlund and Zirkzee etc United recruited levels, sheer levels, below what they had in Cavani and Greenwood, Martial.

Amorin will only start turning in positive results if we get really busy this Janaury transfer window and if we get brutal and be brutally honest with ourselves; Granted it is incredibly difficult to get rid of players on big contracts, but we are relying on Zirkzee and Hojlund quite a lot and tbh, they are both not good enough: 1. Rasmus at the moment is a good squad player at best. 2. Zirkzee is clearly not good enough for our squad. They’re all constantly slated by fans and on social media and they’re only human. It is the players. Whether that be ability, individual mistakes, confidence, team cameraderie and togetherness. It’s all missing. That screams culture in the dressing room. Too much money being paid, players just turning up and collecting their money without doing too much for it. It won’t change until we have a completely new squad. I am of the oppinion we need to spend galactico levels of money on the next three windows. We need super stars. A) We need brand deals , online engagements , sponsorhips , Signings play a role , thats y madrid do it , they get you a lot of behind the scenes deslings B) Developing players is too hard in the prem , Ariola , Arteta , Unai , pep , Slot , we have too many good managers in prem to think you can leap frog them smh with pure pkayer development C) Top players get there because of ambition, they set the training standards , dressing room culture and keep each other on check , mid table level players don't. D) We need players who know how to win. Winning needs to be in their muscle memory. Not this mid table level players. E) Signing huge as a club puts as back on the map , and wipes off this mid table feeling that is affecting our club currently. If real madrid went mid table Perez would pay out every player from their contract, Bayern fans would storm the field and kill the players etc etc. We let the standards go so bad. Problems : -Onana is prone to error and lacks in the fine margins , his ball playing also relys on confidence in himself and his team mates ,his two seasons in and we haven't seen it. -We can't build out from the back. -Our midfield has no tempo, no range of pass , can't recycle possession, and isn't very combative. Your either too good in possession or combative enough not to get dominated. -Our attack is dead. Simple. -We can't buy one season wonders like Lookman or Delap Honestly I'd go : -Gyokeres for CF , he's on 50K a week , has history with manager , scores and assists , can hold up play and has very good first touch, and even under the drastic "comes from a weaker league" my man can't go from 50 goals a season to less than 25 , its impossible, in his prime , let him lead attack.
