It's not a dumb question, you should be ready to relish the opportunity as potentially being able to be a game changer instead of showing any disgust at the thought of coming on.. Yeah, kind of agree with that. Was in no good form so lucky to be picked, is often lazy on the pitch, and this season saw him go from a player arsenal and spurs wanted, to a player that nobody really wants now. He should thank his lucky stars he got to play for England at a tournament.

He was being watched as a potential England player before his ban as he was 2nd best English top striker for previous season and his inclusion was based on that. After not playing for 8 months do you really expect him to get back to banging in 20 plus goals in his first few games? He brings so much more to the game than Watkins. His attitude is he wants to play and knows what he can bring to the squad and he is miles more articulate than most players. Luckily though, your opinion is of no consequence.
