I have come to accept that we can’t hold rashford to the same standard as we have held previous academy players like neville, scholes, giggs, brown and butt. We used to be able to hold our academy players to certain level of professionalism and standard. I don’t really care what lord rashford does in his free time but don’t start giving excuses whenever he don’t play well. This should be a make or break season for him. I'm a Liverpool fan so don't really care. But if I was on those wages, playing so poorly I would honestly consider either 4 days away in the sun with a personal trainer to look at getting my fitness levels tip top or even stay at home and contact some ex United strikers or coaches and see if its possible to have a couple of days of training with them, try something new to get your form back. Unless he's an idiot he's never going to run out of money, But if he's wanting the lifestyle that comes with playing for a massive club like United and playing for your country then living life how you have been really isn't working for you. I remember a young liverpool striker about 5 years ago, was struggling to get game time, went on a lads holiday, but half way through had a change of mind, came home early, contacted the club to see if he could start pre season early, some of the staff came in and supposedly a few of the days Kenny Dalglish turned up to help him train. The club ended up releasing him a year or so later, but just that one little thing made me really hope he would be able to make it, He put his career above his personal life. Cant remember if it was Solanke or Rhian Brewster
