When I first heard Tallah I honestly thought "what is this shit." I felt it was chaotic, had no flow or structure, and just didn't do it for me. I was like there has to be something more to this band that I'm missing so I gave them another listen and holy shit I'm glad that I did. I sat down and listened to every single track without a skip. It's been a while since I've been this hyped for a band and so enthralled in their sound. Their sound is uniquely addicting as it's the best way I can describe it. It's a car crash happening right in front of you and you just can not take your eyes off it, in this case your ears away from the pure and beautiful destruction. Keep on doing what you guys are creating cause it's a utterly amazing.

L i t e r a l l y, my new favourite band. I used to follow Hungry Lights but never imagined he could belong to such a brutally solid band. So this has been a total surprise. Congratulations to the record label for trusting them and also congrats to Hungry Lights because he deserved something big. On another note, this satisfies my need to find music that resembles old Korn that not even Korn have been able to release since TALIM (do not hate me but the drumming style by R.L. does not cause the same impact; this is just my honest o p i n i o n). Thanks for the music and for the talent that all these musicians have progressively developed, obviously, with hard work.

I’m a deathcore kid, and recently I finally gave slipknot a try because it feels like everyone cites them as an influence. I’ve gotten absolutely hooked on self titled and Iowa (I’ve listened to self titled every night for the past month. All of it every night), and then vol. 3 felt utterly disappointing. I’ve been looking for bands that really capture what was special about that early sound. The rawness, the unhinged atmosphere, and the unique instrumental quirks. Nothing has filled that void sufficiently enough until Tallah. Everything I love about that sound along with the best parts of late 2000 early 2010 deathcore. I’m not stoked on the overall vocal style, but the brees are scrumptious (numetal needs more bree) and it’s better than metalcore cleans. This band has something really special. I feel like there’s just one kick missing to keep me actively engaged the whole song, because I could probably play this and do work at the same time without getting distracted. Hope they find that final piece in the next album.
