I love tallow for hair. Most oils dry out my hair after continuous use, but not tallow. I have very long hair and it makes my hair so soft and shiny. I use it as a deep conditioning treatment before washing my hair.

That tallow shampoo bar sounds perfect. I also was looking for a perfect non-toxic shampoo that I could make at home and I found Areetha shampoo. I also add amla, shakikai, fenugreek, bhrami, and some other ayurvedic herbs. Areetha, shikikai, and bhrami have natural saponins so it creates a gentle suds, but I wouldn't mind adding tallow into my routine as a pre-conditioning treatment or a post shower hair leave-in conditioner. At the moment, I am using shea butter, but I do not like the theobromine in Shea butter, despite all of the health benefits of shea butter. Tallow sounds perfect as a skin, hair, non-toxic moisteriser! Will be visiting your shop for some soon!

You are clear n detail (like when you melted something you showed how you had a cloth in the bottom of the pot then placed your glass measuring cup inside that). I am a totally complete new bee. I appreciate you videos. I look forward to making shampoo bar n the magnesium cream for my husband. I have city water and I don’t like the feel of a film on my skin when I use non store bot soap. Don’t know what I’ll do if it feels that way. Love your li’l one.

I'm a guy in my 20's that is starting to slowly loose my hair, and I've realized no man is doing more than using shampoo everyday. I'm convinced after doing my own human study of just asking 50 men i know what they do (everyone uses shampoo everyday except two who has long hair), compared to what the 50 women i've asked answers (too long to write here), that most mens balding might not be beacuse of purely genetics, and instead more so for using shampoo 2x per day, everyday. I've figured out so far that i should use conditioner more often than shampoo? And not shower my hair if its not necessary? I have short, almost military hairstyle cut hair, i train either martial arts or run 5-6 times a week so i sweat alot. Can someone help me with some direction? This world of hair is overwhelming and everything is for long hair (don't know if there's a difference).
@marcells6709 Жыл бұрын
genetics and diet play a huge role in hair loss...genetics can skip generations so I would do some family history with your parents and grandparents and find out more info about their hair. Also, too much sugar, lack of certain minerals and nutrients along with many other things can be the cause of your hair loss. For me, I use to wear hats a lot when I was in college and it has played a part in the thinning of my hair line. Also, on my dad side all of my uncles, grandma, grandpa, and dad were bald and so as I approach 30 I am losing lots of hair and contribute it to genetics. Hair loss definitely sucks but can be treated with a hair transplant if you think you would feel insecure with bald hair. As I get older I kind of don't care but then again I have always said I will probably look into getting a hair transplant as I cannot picture myself bald.

Rosemary oil is a phenomenal option. Similar to rogaine, but fully natural. I recommend mixing with Castor oil and massaging into thinning spots if not your entire scalp when you can just leave it in for awhile or overnight. It has done wonders for me and my husband and son. Consistency is key though. Also, the castor oil (aka Palm of Christ) is a miracle worker for moles and other skin issues. My husband had a nickle sized mole on his temple that disappeared with consistent application.

I have extremely long, coarse, thick, somewhat curly hair...I usually need lots of conditioner. Do you think that shampoo bar would be sufficient for me? What was that "rinse" you were talking about?😊Thanks!
@bumblebeeapothecary4 жыл бұрын
I have heard of others with your hair type using the shampoo bar and liking it! The rinse is an acidic rinse, usually diluted ACV works the best. I put 1/4 cup of ACV in a pint of water, pour it over my hair, and then rinse it out. It resets the ph, boosts shine, smooths, and helps prevent frizz :)

You should show more on how to apply it on your hair rather than just saying, it's better with more visual. I feel hard to apply it evenly because it's the first time I put something with creamy texture on my hair.
