Diamondback is awesome. Best cover ever, and easy to remove if needed. 🌟

You should weigh the truck when it’s stock. Then when you get done modifying it see how much weight was added through out the process. Be interesting to see. Love the heavy duty cover though 👍

Hell yeah! My Taco is in for service today…. 85K miles on my ‘22, and they gave me a platinum Tundy to drive and man….. it sure is nice and is making me consider upgrading. But I love my Taco with my Diamondback and front runner racks for my RTT. A hard choice to decide my reliable naturally aspirated V6 to then choice for a hybrid V6 in the bigger truck. Anyways, love that you’re going with a tundra build, and I can’t wait to see the lift/wheels/tires you build her out with. Much love Talon!

I got these installed on all of my department's new F150 K9 trucks. I love them! Just make sure they get tightened down properly at the tailgate, otherwise you WILL get water leakage, especially during car washes.

Agreed 100%% About to place order for my 2024 1794 Tundra as well..Tru Automotive is my go too for builds..Coolest guys in Denver.. I'm doing a unique build as well..Once my Tundra arrives in a couple months.. Will also have Tru-Automive do the cover install..

I love my diamondback cover. Best cover money can buy! You need to rotate your locking cross bars so they are horizontal with the cover. This way they are tucked up in and out of the way. That is why they have an offset pre-bent into them.

Those Diamondback covers are cool unless you snowmobile and dirt bike like me. I prefer the factory Toyota one that folds all the way up against the glass and removes super easy with one person. It obviously makes sense for your setup with the rooftop tents but I have a slide-in truck camper. Very different use cases but wanted to provide another perspective.

Nice vid, just installed my Diamondback cover on my 21' Tundra. Like yours, looking awesome!! I do have a question though, did you install the shims? I couldn't tell but it didn't look like you did. If you did not, could you give a reason why?

Still hoping to see the window sticker for the packages on your truck. Subbed for the build! Awesome

The 3 packages are… Advanced off-road tech package Premium audio package TRD off-road premium package Everything else is just single add ons like bed liner, all weather mats etc.

It's beautiful. I'm trying to decide between an RSI Smartcap or the smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover on the F150 I plan to purchase later this year. Any thoughts on that RSI cap versus Diamondback cover choice? One thing, how hot does this Diamondback get in the heat of the summer, inside and on the surface? I ask because the RSI Smartcap apparently gets pretty darn hot inside but it's not treated, while Diamondback says theirs is treated for UV protection.

@alexmseu7 ай бұрын
Great cover. I had one on my Frontier and loved it, but now I’m running the Retrax Pro with my 3rd gen Tundra. I just find it a lot less cumbersome when running a rack/RTT combo. I can still have access to the entire bed without having to crawl into it like I did with my Diamondback. Looking forward to seeing your build come alive!

Can you mount a tent directly to the diamond back cover?
@TalonSei7 ай бұрын
Technically you could if you drill through or come up with a different mounting solution

My only wish is that you could run the Diamondback open like a Backflip hard cover

Would love to see a video about your personal finances and educate us about how you afford all these things. House in HCOL area/state, multiple vehicles that are expensive in the first place + have so many upgrades done, all the pew pews.... Did you inherit 9 figures? Win the lottery in the past? I'm not trying to troll, this isn't a criticism; I want to live the kind of life you do.

He's a KZbinr/Content Creator. There are deals and sponsors, plus money to be made from making content on the new stuff (ie. vehicles). Not saying that I wouldn't also like to know more, but this is his business. I doubt it's much different than another business purchasing things. It's a business expense. Build yourself a successful youtube/social presence and you'll see the same thing happen with brands reaching out and wanting to work with or sponsor you.

Most of the overlanding rigs. Let it Jeep JLU and JT, Toyota 4runner, Tacoma, Tundra etc.. A either wrapped in some kind of grey, matte black, red, blue etc.. The white is common in Australia, but in the US it looks unique, so please don't change the colour. I don't care what lift kit you gonna install later, what shocks, how many inch suspension lift, but please go for 37s and keep the white. Tundra on 35s looks so un proportionate makes the truck look damn ugly. Xo ran their tundra on 35s in Africa and they don't actually say it but we could understand a 37s would be a better choice on those vast river beds, corrugated roads, they struggle to find a good speed to drive through the corrugated roads cuz the 35s are bit too small and couldn't drive on top of the bumps in high speed. So their vehicles rattle that much. Driver fatigue set in faster than you anticipated.
