Talon, one of the earliest accessories you want to get is a “Peg Spacer” support between the stock rear sets… otherwise they tend to bend downward over time if your having any real pressure placed on the pegs. I wish I did sooner. 🤦‍♂️

I’ve had my surron for like a year or so now and I love it even more the longer I have it, mines got new sram g2 brakes, rock shox boxxer fork, controller and bypassed battery for 7kw power and it really changes the bike makes it so much better , also I really reccomend the fisher fab house light

Just gonna share this here: my Sur Ron got stolen and insurance said that since it doesn’t have pedals, it can’t be covered. So either usaa is just complete garbage, or others may also be like this. They said it was a land conveyance vehicle and not covered under renters insurance. It’s not street legal so I couldn’t get motorcycle insurance. And it doesn’t have an engine so nobody wanted to cover it as a dirt bike, even though that’s what it is. I’d highly recommend an Invoxia tracker. These things get stolen a lot.

Might be a good idea trying to engineer a selective switch for the speed cap mod so you can save battery when it starts getting low in charge like having an eco button don’t always need that max speed option

Be careful on footpeg upgrades, anything generic or MX specific don't fit correctly and some eBay people are grinding them to fit, every Surron we've worked on with these pegs begin to sag over time and do not fit correctly. Buy a footpeg like the Warp9 that is actually made specifically for the Surron, they are 100x better. Let us know when you're ready to upgrade that bad boy, so many options to play with from huge power gains, to motocross wheels/tires, to suspension, the sky is the limit. :)

Nice.. these are getting big. I think they will remove it from bike trails soon (city bike trails), or require licenses soon... too many people are using these as 'ebikes' ha. They are so next level, but the prices are still needing to drop to beat a nice enduro for daily drivers. I think soon though, it will for sure crush dirtbikes for mainstream.

I'd be careful with that belt drive. It is definitely not as strong as a chain. Especially offroading, if you get a pebble stuck in the belt it will tear right through it. I would stick to a chain for off-roading.

Great video. @17:40 Just a side note, people don't own these big trails, it's not being a dick to ride MTB trails etc., especially when that's all there is in your area and e-bikes are allowed on them. Just be respectful about it, don't blow past people and don't tear everything up doing burn outs, etc. It's not fair to force people who own a Sur Ron to "roads only" just because MTB people exists on trails they don't own. For example, where I live it's mostly MTB trails, etc., but they are all owned by national forest organizations/Government that also allow for e-bikes. I would hate to think I'd be harassed/lose privileges due to MTB people who "think I'm an ass hole" for wanting to enjoy nature as well. This bike gives us the power needed to get through these harsher mountain trails filled with rocks around here; not everyone rides like a wanker! Cheers
