Patience sounds more like a Bee Gees (disco) song, imo...LOVE the tune, nonetheless....it would make for a good cover song...'It Might Be Time' would be a good second lead in song after Patience....Borderline being 3rd...the song on their newly released promo video sounds AMAZING though...wish I could hear it in its entirety because it sounds better than all three of those songs combined.....almost has a colorful samba/bossa vibe with the acoustic Spanish guitar riff.....

I can't get rid of the idea, that this would be the sound of The Beatles if they were still here today. The vocals of K.Parker was always a bit lennon-esque to me, and the melodies and harmonies was often on the very high quality level. But this song for me musically is all about the drums. That double bass-drum you can hear two or three times is glorious. And guess what. These drums for me sounds very much like Ringo Starr. It's very simple beat, almost everyone can play this at home. And at the same time it's not boring, not stupid, in fact it's fun. Ringo Starr style 100% :)

i love this track for many reasons, first because i was expecting something more "currents style", so i have been surprised that is more experimental and with lots of sounds coming from different areas and styles. Then i can really feel different moods on this track, very rude and determinated sound of the chorus, and then a more melodic and chilly part. I think this is kinda a mix of lonerism and kevin's new influences and knowledge. it's difficult to put out some fresh stuff after an album like currents that has been so determinating for kevin's carrer, but this track is just a really fresh and new return

I dig his supertramp fandom lurkin through this track. His first two albums and the EP were a revelation to me, but I also like to hear Parker develop and cultivate his work. With a lotta lyrics he gives me the feeling, that if we knew each other, he'd understand my shit. And how profound is that? Giving me as a listerner the feeling to be understood through a kinda transcendental one way channel. Fascinating.
