Cobra was kickass in basically every way; independently made because the label wouldn't let her do it, a really interesting blend of rap with some rock aspects (that is leaned on even more heavily with the collab and remix with Spiritbox, which in of itself is an amazing having a metal artist collab with a pop-rap artist, drawing more attention to both genres in a unique way), the visuals and story of the music video, not to mention the song and lyrics itself? It didn't deserve to be so overlooked, dude, this was fire in every sense of the word, and I have nothing but respect for Megan for it. I wouldn't say maybe she's underrated for this song, given how massive she is, but, she kinda is.

Never before has it been so easy to predict that a diss track was going to be totally wack. 4:48 i think what makes her justification about her husbands assault even worse is because she knew him back when it happened. i listened to the victim (Jennifer Hough) share her story and it was horrible the way Kenneth and his parents denied everything despite clear evidence. Nicki was around to witness first hand how all of it played out. He wasnt just some random in her neighborhood, nicki has expressed in an interview how close they were when they were younger.
