I was never a fan of this model Gavin, but it actually looks like it will be fun to drive. There should be a race class for this model at the local clubs. A professional build as normal with a full bearing kit installed! Thumbs man!

Loads of fun, madness to drive. I build one as Wayne Gardner pension spec with a brushless setup. It wheelies nicely and drives surprisingly good once you're used to the flip-flop steering. I've this Tamico one too, I won't mess about too much with this though :)

Thanks for all the great content! I can't wait to win mine in your raffle! Seriously, I have one and it's splendid fun, but it only really works on very smooth surfaces... like indoors. It drives the way I wish RC motorcycles would, and I think it's quite unique.

Looks great, especially with the writing on the tyres! Rear wheel attachment seems a bit dodgy… What battery would you recommend Gavin? It doesn’t look like that stick pack will fit!

Hello Gavin, thanks to you and your earlier video I got one of these trikes. As you know they are now sold out. I do have a silver one that I just built but it is not the Tamico version. You can buy lots of after market parts for these trikes. I got the motor that you have and I also got the Tamiya special radio for this trike. That radio was only available in Japan. Not sure why. You can even get a LIPO battery for this trike. It appears that Tamiya might be discontinuing making these trikes. You can still get them at a low price just not the Tamico version. Thoughts?

I don’t really get it Gavin, I’m not a collector so I don’t really see why else you’d buy one ! It’s not as if it’s even aesthetically attractive 🤷‍♂️ and running it must be quite limited . Thumbs down from me.

If I’m not mistaken, that looks like the same helmet/face mold from the original Tamiya Wild Willy! So iconic, Always loved it! Have they used it in other models too?

I was intrigued by this when all the hype was going and had a couple in a cart ready to order. I looked at the standard and wasn't impressed so didn't buy them. Glad I didn't now as it doesn't really look too great. Maybe is is more a hardcore collectors and kids kit.
