Tashigi's goal is not as simple as getting every fine, great and supreme sword. It's to make sure that those swords don't go to the wrong hand. When Tashigi met Zoro in Loungetown, she had no intention of taking his sword till she found out he was a pirate. Though I hope they explore this concept more since it would be cool to see Tashigi change her world view on morality and truly understand that their are good pirates like Zoro that should have the sword, and bad marines that shouldn't. Though with we're going I don't think that'll happen any time soon.

This is why I don’t see Doffy sitting on him as a loss, the entire point of that scene was to show that there is in fact levels to this shii. Doffy one shots smoker who proceeds to get one tapped by Aokiji. It's not about if she can do it, its about if it can be done. Yes, her dream is improbable even for the strongest, but it can be done. Hell, if she was a main character, no one would even question it. You cannot cure all diseases no matter who it is. That's the difference. One of these goals is finite, the other is not. That is what makes Chopper's dream impossible, because it doesn't matter who does it, it can't be done.

tashigi only hunts swords which are left behind as treasure, or awords which are owned by bad guys and pirates. she doesn't like the swords to be left rusty damaged nor used for evil. for example she respects zorro ownership of kitetau, ichimoji and yubashiri before zorro is identified by her as a pirate. i think she would 't take down wano (which is literally the origin of many special swords) only to fill her swords storage. as for nusjuro and many world govt officers who have the legendary swords, i think she'll let marine swordsmans have them
