Dear sir , would this tank model be a good beginners scale model to begin with for a 75 year old man? It's been over 60 years since I built a scale model. Also what kind of glue did you use with the applicator?

From personal experience i would suggest tamiyas m4 sherman early production. Its slightly simpler but the difference in complexity is so small that you can pretty easily start from this one. As for the glue i would suggest precision plastic glue from deluxe. It dries relatively slowly so you can easily correct mistakes and its easy to use. I hope this helps

Good build with some useful tips, did you mean to leave off the bits of the suspension between the road wheels? I'm in the process of building the same kit 👍

Great build! Out of curiosity, what does mixing floor polish do to the paint?

At first I thought it acted as a chipping fluid replacement however he uses it simply to thin out that black paint making it a wash but I’ve never used floor polish as a thinner
