I think this buggy is going to be so much better than people might expect. I think it will go down in Tamiya history as a real gem. It's design, which may have divided opinion is super. Even details that we first may not notice, like the low profile front end. I think they should have called it the Kaizen (continuous improvement in Japanese) as that is what it is really. It is such a departure from Tamiya design and I can see why some don't like the Avante name being used on this buggy. I am surprised by the price and then the price for option parts. Option parts alone can quickly reach double figures. The 'essentials' could get us to over £200 or $275 and that is a lot of money don't you think? Especially considering the price of the kit, which is not cheap. Thank you for the video. I'm looking forward to more.

The wheels was first seen in white with the 58100 Top Force. I like the unpainted body a lot!

BEING NUTS IS NEAT but it drives me nuts that Tamiya didn't create a new wheel especially for this car. The old wheels really let this thing down.

Since the 1 /48 scale releases of F-14 Tomcat A/ D and the current F-4 Phantom 2 , I would love to see a 1/48 Scale F105 Thunder Chief Wild Weasal ! I understand this is a RC Car video just throwing out a suggestion for Tamiya !!!!! Thanks ,

Tamiya doesn't use Philips head screws but Jis. Yes it looks the same but is slightly different.

Hmmm - Classic Tamiya packaging would be nice blister packs, like the early kits right? For the price of kit ESC and Motor should be included.

No ESC?
@TamiyaUSAOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Correct. Most of our upper level kits don't come with an ESC or motor - this would be one of those.
@adrianharrison52083 жыл бұрын
@@TamiyaUSAOfficial why is that?
@TamiyaUSAOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Most people won't use the Tamiya ESC or motor in higher end kits - they want to use their own electronics or something better. That being said, not including them also helps keep the price down.

I guess it doesn't come with the ESC in it.

really looking forward to getting and building this kit but as a huge Tamiya fan that packaging is a major let down for me and most Tamiya fans.. having used the Avante name it really should of come with blister packs and not this standard generic Tamiya box layout.. the packaging is a major part of the build experience,Tamiya knows better than this!
@TamiyaUSAOfficial3 жыл бұрын
While that's true - the blister pack setup would be a nod to the original - that type of packaging also costs more to produce. I'm guessing that would cause a rise in kit pricing as well. Just a thought.

@@TamiyaUSAOfficial yes I get that and its a good point but I still would of wanted somthing a bit more special to what has been done.. It is a let down

Looks ok, but doesn't look as good as the actual Avante. Plus a bit silly design for the battery install/swap.

Another cheap to make car carrying the Avante name so every sap will buy it thinking it will be worth loads like the original, you guys are fools who buy tamiya marketing expertise
