Tamiya & Vallejo Silver Paints

Thanks for this! I'm trying to determine best color to use on wheels for a Tamiya Porsche RC kit. Wanting to get a polished aluminum look. I need to watch your vid again, but initial thought is that the TS-30 Silver Leaf, with a gloss or semi-gloss coat over might do the trick. Edit: I don't have an air brush (just found your vid of this exact topic), so trying to do this with rattle cans. Your thoughts?

Thanks for watching and the comment. Also thanks for the edit since I was going to suggest Alclad II Polished aluminum. Otherwise since you don’t have an airbrush try the Tamiya Bare Metal Spray or the Revell Chrome spray.

Great testing.... the gun metals my fave too altho comes across as more a smokey/cloudy black. One can play about with how many layers to get depth or finish ones after. TS-30 was my least fave but still dominating 🔥👏
