If the soul leaves the body, the magical power that keeps it together is gone, and the body just falls apart. Rocks don't have that. It separates the living from the dead. Nobody knows if the soul really persists but I always feel it's like taking the pen from the paper that contains your life story. And the pen will be everywhere, any time because the cramped confinement of 'here and now' is gone. Thanks for sharing and making me spend some time with the people I lost.
