TANDOORI LAMB CHOPS 2 WAYS | EID UL ADHA SPECIAL MUTTON CHOPS GRILLED AND PRESSURE COOKED | MUTTON CHAP | SARACOOKSFORYOU | BAKRID SPECIAL RECIPE
Tandoori Lamb Chops is an amazingly delicious and mouth watering recipe that are easy to make and taste like they came from a restaurant , a must try this Bakrid/ Eid ul Adha . This mutton chops recipe / mutton Chaap recipe is really flavorful and juicy , In this video we have 2 ways of making the Mutton Chops one using a grill/ bbq, grill pan and the other using a pressure cooker , Both recipes are equally amazing and a must try cooked in an amazing Indian style Tandoori marinade . Try it once and Im sure you'll keep making this recipe again and again. This recipe is ideal for BBQ, parties , Eid , Bakrid , Eid ul Adha Festivities get togethers and just for a simple family dinner . You can also use the same marinade to grill a whole lamb leg which is popularly made during Eid / Bakrid. INGREDIENTS For Grilled Chops ( electric grill / charcoal / grill pan )
Lamb Chops - 800
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric - 1/ 4 tsp
Cumin - 3/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 3/4 tsp
Tandoori masala / tikka masala - 1 tsp
Raw Papaya paste - 1 tsp
lemon juice -2 tbsp
salt - to taste or 1 tsp
yoghurt - 1 tbsp
Red color - optional
Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
INGREDIENTS FOR PRESSURE COOKED LAMB CHOPS
Lamb Chops - 800
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Yoghurt - 1 1/2 tbsp
For the Marinade
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric - 1/ 4 tsp
Cumin - 3/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Tandoori masala / tikka masala - 1 tsp
lemon juice - 2 tbsp
salt - to taste or 1/4 tsp
yoghurt - 1 tbsp
Red color - optional

I've cooked this recipe many many times. And its absolutely delicious. I use papaya powder, which I buy from our local Asian grocers instead of fresh. Thanks for this recipe

Hi I used the charcoal to give a smoky flavour to the chops , if you are not cooking on barbeque you can use the charcoal effect and pan fry them . They taste amazing ❤️

@@lalamc6768 yes u need to burn the charcoal and then keep it in a bowl and pour some oil or butter over it . Keep this with the chops and cover it completely for 10 mins. The chops get a nice smoky flavour . You can get it in stores which sell barbecue materials .

I grind the papaya with skin add the required amount and freeze it and use it when required.

No problem color is only to make it attractive , if you are using a liquid color use very very little as they are much stronger than the powders .

I don’t think microwave is a good idea , you can either bake them in oven , grill on charcoal or pressure cook.

I’ve used raw papaya in the recipe which is a natural meat tenderizer and the chops are marinated so it gets done really fast .

They dont look like lamb chops... more mutton. Especially with you using papaya, coz u dnt need to tenderise lamb meat with any additional ingredient

They are Australian lamb chops they are bigger than the normal ones . Since those lambs are big they either need pressure cooking or a tenderiser .

The first method where I’ve grilled them on an electric grill the lamb chops were really juicy , succulent and really well done as I have added raw papaya in the marination and that’s a natural meat tenderiser .

If you cook your meat over an open grill the juice and everything else will fall on the grill and destroy it. You should not do that on an indoor stove unless you plan on replacing the grill. Better to do that on an outside grill or on a campfire.

Yes you’re absolutely right , we always do this outside . I generally brush the grill with oil before placing the meat and also there is water in the tray below so that makes it easy to clean . But still nothing like the real charcoal grilling .
