Hi there, I wrote this track bloody ages ago and it's one of the first I did for DeWolfe. That's me on drums, bass, guitars, kbds, everything really apart from the lead guitar which is played by Doug Boyle. Thanks for taking an interest in the track guys, appreciate it!

Dude, it's a classic! Livens up that epic scene so SO much. I've had that snippet of music in my head for thirty years - and now I've heard it in full. Fantastic stuff. Well played, Sir, well played 👏🏼

That’s awesome! Wasn’t sure where it came from...either a short radio edit or from A-ha or the Pretenders? Thanks again!!

I've only known of the existence of library music for a few years, but I was always a fan of the odd bit of it for much longer. I'd always thought "Sacred Heart" was some New Wave or metal nugget that I'd never be able to track down back in the day, or ever. This was a great bit of music, and it added a lot to that TLD scene!

Did you write for that movie or did you do tunes for sale?

@@gringostarr69 - Hi there, the track is a library track and written for the production music company DeWolfe Music. It was a complete surprise to me to hear it in the movie!

Interesting Fact: The MI6 scientist who fires the Ghetto Blaster is played by actor Alan Harris, he's best known for playing Bossk one of the bounty hunters from Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back.

Rather fitting since the suit actor for Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) previously played Smithers, Q's assistant in two of Roger Moore's Bond films: *"For Your Eyes Only"* & *"Octopussy".*

I watched this movie in 1988 on a Hitachi VCR.....and just watched it again in October 2024 after all these years on Netflix....and when this track started at the Ghetto Blaster scene, it was incredible.....this track is pure, unadulterated 80's music, with all the magic and essence of that great decade......thanks a million @chiswaah.....🙏🙏.....with love and respect from India....

Living Daylights has been my favorite 007 movie since I was a little kid and that damn guitar part has been stuck in my head for years. Finally after humming it to myself earlier today I decided to try and find the song on here. Success!

What I wouldn't give to own one of those vintage 80's boomboxes (ghetto blasters) and play this tune on some James Bond convention (if such things even exist in this day and age). Always thought Timothy Dalton's two outings as 007 was superior to any of those "MTV Generation Bond films" Pierce Brosnan appeared in which just re-used the Roger Moore formula for a new generation that never saw a Bond movie. Even Brosnan himself admitted he hated to say the lines.

The boombox used in this movie was the Philips D8854, which appears on Ebay Germany approximately once a month.

The same here. For 30 years I didn't know who made this song, or what it was called. It was used as the Soundtrack for the living Daylights (Ghetto Blaster Scene and Creepshow 2 ( 2.Story at the sea), both movies from 1987.

The internet has already improved the lives of us “Boomers” a lot. Young people don't really appreciate having all information immediately available. We had to buy a lot of books and search for unknown music forever. Today you can find everything online somewhere without any restrictions and meet like-minded people.
