Just a tip to tanks using the slippery star. You need to unslot this when running scalecaller peak DLC dungeon otherwise you won't get stuck in the ice AOEs, which is an important mechanic there.

After the incremental patch the bracing anchor got corrected. I'm not going into formula specifics, just believe the values to be correct. If you want more details, just ask:) Before that patch bracing anchor would be 80% reduction giving an additional 40% mitigation going to the cap right away. After the patch bracing anchor would give the correct 20% reduction giving it the same additional 10% mitigation as the "Sword and board" or "Ancient knowledge" passives.

So is block mitigation capped at 77 I can't get past it use to be 90. Just curious bracing anchor brought me from 67-77. Also thanks I put bracing anchor on this morning just saw it now I know it is good I was thinking running celerity with it but have not decided. I use the res time perk for dungeons it's surprisingly helpful

It's capped at 90, but its a "hidden" cap, like you can get 120% block mitigation but only 90% of it will be active not the tooltip number. I don't know why you are stuck at 77.

@@TheTankClub ok thanks for responding. I think it's very weird as well that I can't get past 77 on any of my 4 tanks. Anchor should bring me to 87 so I'm thinking that now that I have dropped defensive stance it probably really is 77 even though I have no way of knowing perhaps console issues. Anyway thanks again and keep up the videos.

I didn't say because its a matter of experience that you need to take into account also. Generally 1600 CP will unlock all the none slottables plus 4x Slottables maybe 1 or 2 extras. You can comfortably Tank early Vet content comfortably by 200CP if you have Preparation and Bracing Anchor.

300 was believed to be the treshhold before the CP overhaul iirc. But i might be wrong

@@TheTankClub Thanks for the response. I know you tank on NA with 600 CP, so I figured it's a lower general threshold than DPS for "optimal" play. I have around 1300 and have no issues that could be solved by having more CP, I was just curious.

Why is there a chance to use last stand cp? I think would be better if we use drake rush for major heroism.

Yeah but Drakes isn't useful in every situation. If you are using Drakes then you wouldn't slot it.

Hello, my tank is argonian and with the meta and balance buff sets I don't pass 27k resistance, what should I do? I didn't want to change the race...

27k is fine, check out my other videos on resistances. Do not change race because of this 27k is fine for ALL content in the game 🙂

It's a bit tricky to max out your argonian but I do it by messing around with major and minor resolve (easy access to minor on an NB) a bit of reinforced, defensive weapons and bulwark cp, tweaked to 33k buffed. If you wanna be rock hard
