For a minute I thought the game had projectiles and the bunkers were designed to shield the player from them, except through a horribly obvious miscalculation they're shaped to deflect them right into the player's eyes.

Christ, I begged my mum for this game for Christmas in 1986. It looked so exciting in the Argos catalogue! My mum tried to talk me out of it - somehow she perceived its crapness - but I was adamant. Santa delivered. That was the day I realised the world was full of disappointment!

@TheOldTomster10 жыл бұрын
So basically, you can automatically win every time just by choosing the numbers 10, 9, 8, and 7 at the start of each game. If your opponent does not do the same, the game will become essentially unwinable.
@TheOldTomster10 жыл бұрын
Mm.. Yeah, you're right.
@Sivos9099 жыл бұрын
It still requires strategy. Usually what you want to do is save your high numbers for when you go past the middle mark. That way you can get them closer to the mines faster. You can also use them to push your tanks away from the mines, but you must anticipate if your opponent will use a high number to go further and see if you can even push him off. For instance, if you used your 10 and your opponent hasn't, you can implore a 1 to reduce the amount of steps he/she takes if you believe them to be the kind to save the high numbers for going past the middle point. It still has strategy to where you must be able to read your opponent's moves and time which numbers to use when. These two are pretty much just picking at random because they want to have fun more than they want to win; that's why they keep going back and forth.
