God I love this channel! It's got everything....tanks, trucks, diggers, great banter, a sprinkling of sexual innuendo and the occasional no shits given to jobs that just need doing. I really don't think I've seen a harder working bunch of people on KZbin.....or anywhere for that matter. I could watch all day long. It sure beats the spoon fed bullshit that the BBC and other media channels slingshot at us! Keep it up guys and girls...it's brilliant!

I've actually stopped watching the mainstream brainwashing propaganda hate and fear spreading agendas being pushed by tv. Won't catch me getting conned into going to war for the so called future of are kids in Britain like my grandad did. Only to be blamed for global warming then to feed the war mongers pockets while are kids have ther future wrote for them. 👍

The phrase comes from 'cowboy builders ', meaning farmhands trying to construct anything more complicated than a shed, or fly by night chancers riding into town and shooting up the sheriff, i.e. doing a terrible job of fixing your house and disappearing as soon as they get paid. It's a throwback to the Hollywood westerns shown in British cinema and not meant to be disrespectful to Americans or real cowboys, but has spread from building to mean any amateurish bodge job.

I’m 55 years old and I’ve been a class A diesel mechanic since 1986. I love watching your channel cause I’ve always been fascinated with tanks. I feel that I could work tanks like I’ve been doing it forever. Because of you. I love watching your videos because of the way you explain shit, sometimes in a very, very funny way. But the thing I like the most is you got your mates there with you. Mine have unfortunately passed away and those days you’re living now are 30 years in my past. Enjoy these times, be smart, don’t screw up and most importantly don’t drink and drive. Please keep making the fantastic videos. Cheers ! P.S. your nasal whining impression of an old British guy that knows everything sounds incredibly like Jeremy Clarkson‘s same impression.

The way we used to mount road wheels is you would be facing away from the tank as you lift it up, more or less aligned, and your buddy would then guide it onto the studs. That recovery vehicle hanger queen just doesn't want to go.... I was totally sure, the tree was gonna get hit. Nice recovery.
@Bob-kb5pv6 ай бұрын
We used to do similar but the chap holding the wheel didn't lift. Two chaps, one either side of the wheel used shovels as a leaver against the tracks to take the weight.
@depleteduraniumcowboy35166 ай бұрын
@@Bob-kb5pv oh, now that you mention it, I remember that sometimes we would have a third with a tanker's bar to leaver up the wheel. The challenge was that we were supporting officer training, so each of us was individually responsible for several tanks so we didn't have a crew.

Lead pipes are not a problem, unless they are in the House of Lords. The pipes corroded as the sinks were being used as urinals due to the poor and distant provision of toilets (at least that was the excuse at the time). There was a time when tomatoes were suspected of being poisonous. What was actually happening was the lead in pewter kitchen vessels was being dissolved by the acidic toms, and getting into the food.
@jamesbull8906 ай бұрын
Love the videos. On the subject of lead pipes if you're in a hard water area there's not such a problem because the calcium in the water is constantly forming and breaking down lead calcite which stops the lead getting into the water, in soft water areas the water is slightly acidic which dissolves small amounts of lead into the water which your body then absorbs.

Dear Joe, First of all I wanna thank you for helping out Emile Luijben, alias Master Milo, with his missing exhaust manifolds for his T69 tank because together with an almost brand new engine his Chinese tank will run better than ever before. Your restored Centurion is almost finished and looks great so it can be shipped to her new owner in the USA pretty soon. Your USA M936 crane is a light weight crane but is a good fighter in muddy roads so with all the rain over the past months the bucket was not too difficult to rescue. I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
