You can use AVR Encounters to see if you are in range of players for ice tomb. and the cooldown on it.

Unless it is using the meaning which means display, or presentation, which would also make full sense. A display or presentation of arcane energy coming from you more and more with each stack which allows the sindragosa to do more damage. Then it would be said the way I said.

Spike damage absolutely matters. A good tank does what they can to not only meet the minimum requirements TO tank a raid, but also become a ank that levels out the damage they have incoming as much as possible. Spaced out constant use of cooldowns, moving out of AE dmg right away, etc. Spike dmg is what kills a tank.

@ElchinMendes In phase one stay away from her front or back unless you're the tank. If you're melee/hunter, stop attacking when you get 6 stacks of "chilled to the bone" and if you're a caster (healers too) stop attacking at 6 stacks of instability. Phase 2-> people who get marked make a wall at the stairs and line of sight the swirling things. Let 4 bombs hit the ground before you break the icicles. Phase 3-> combine the two phases. And as always, if she pulls you into her, GTFO! There =D

And I agree about blood vs. frost for DK tanks. I have tanked a lot with both and I find Frost to be much more "easier" for the healers to anticipate how much healing I'll need. Blood the damage comes in a lot more spikey and can surprise them. Both specs work...but Frost is superior IMO.

@darkillidian It is several diiferents Addons he is using, But I guess - Eepanels for the black square at bottom. X-pearl for the 3d icon. Bartender for his spells. For his buffs he maybe use Satrina Buff frames, though im not sure. And omen ;)

@thepouchka Yes i am thinking of Buffet like a buffet of food. Look at the achievement's for this fight one is "All you can eat" for no player letting that spell get above a certain stack.

@sierra087 agreed, as blood, you'll have higher TPS than DW frost, probably due to misses. Without stacking hit as DW, your going to miss a shit ton, so that'll lower your TPS. However, as blood you require more healing. In my experience, healing as a resto sham, blood DKs take MUCH more damage than a frost DK. it depends what you need. More tps= blood. less healing=frost

You just have to know what to do and buckle down and do it. Some classes can deal threat easier than others, for example. My warrior tank can do 8k tps in randoms if I don't have to move around/boss doesn't die too fast. In 25 man raids 10-12k tps is easy if you know who to put vigil on and you know which moves to hit. Pally is the same, my pally friend does about 8k easy when he tries - it's all about the right moves.

But... with multiple rogues, getting tricks is a dps loss for them, being able to handle your own threat is a dps gain. Though I like the survivability of frost myself, and generally use it.

@sgrstandlee the exploit happned due to a normal rotation of a rogue using saronite bombs causing the exploit. but again no one knew the fight, so it's a hard call to whether they did discover the exploit or they thought it was how the fight was going. and Ensidia have been getting world first kills for many bosses and I believe that they have no reason to exploit a fight considering that they know if blizzard finds out, achievement, loot and etc will be removed and ban inc. we'll never know

HOW HUNTERS CAN HELP ON THIS FIGHT!!! When she pulls you in with the big frost thing, hunters can activate "aspect of the pack" and you dont get dazed, this helps if some of your players are a little late at moving or are keyboard turneres! how i know: guild did it tonight, worked ;]

I am a 2h Frost DK (5934 gear score now...and no gear doesn't equal skill, just saying I'm well geared) and I have no issues holding threat or living longer then my warrior and paladin tank counterparts. Of all our tanks in guild I am the preferred tank...and the raidlogs prove that overall I just take less damage then the other two on fights like Marrowgar or Saurfang.
