Maybe next year turn the hosts into scarecrows and post them in a quiet field far far away. Nice job on the prop.

I absolutely love the build on the tall scary scarecrow it's pretty epic I love it good job

Oh my lord, I wish the hosts would just STOP TALKING for the couple seconds it would take for the builder to explain what to do. Instead they're trying to make jokes and it's a jumbled, unprofessional mess. Great build, awesome prop, but jeeze.
@joshmuller937 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. Every video they do is like this. The hosts talk the whole way through and it's sometimes hard to understand what is going on. Great build though!

@michaelroberts34956 жыл бұрын
Yeah i agree. Made one last year after seeing this. Had to experiment with the arm lengths to get the look I wanted. I used 1 1/2" PVC for all pieces. Heres my list. 4- 45° elbows 1- cross (four holes) 1- 12" = neck 2- 10" = shoulders 2- 20" = upper arm 2- 30" = lower arm 1- 6' to 8' body. I used a heavy duty metal c-channel post to drive into the ground so I could attach the PVC body to it, it gets top heavy and must be secured properly or you could have a Halloween catastrophe on your hands. Hope that helps you if ya haven't already made one. ADDED INFO.... If you have the room for storage you can glue your project together or use 4 small screws at each of the jionts to hold them together, with this method you can adjust the arm positions for a different look plus it can be dismantled for easier storage.
@michaelroberts34956 жыл бұрын
@@lotsabullies the length of your c- channel should be the same length of the PVC (body) plus approximately 2 feet more which will be below ground. This c-channel is for the sole purpose of supporting the PVC body. Once you have driven the c-channel into the ground (watch for underground cable or electric lines) zip tie or screw the PVC body to the c-channel and continue on with your build. Hope this helps. It was pretty much an experiment as you go when I built mine. Another thing I should have posted in my original comment is I use small screws to hold all my PVC jionts together instead of glue, that way if you need to change something its much easier and you can also disassemble it for storage.

Umm I don’t normally do this but I cannot resist right now.... are the “steaks” to eat after creating such an awesome Scarecrow?!?! Lol! I’m pretty sure you meant to say “Stakes” I made one of these many many years ago and everyone loves it! I did have to change the pumpkin head up for a little while because the kids were scared of it. I don’t mind. They are all older now so I went back to the creepy version!

I want to do this this year mostly because I have leftover sticks from a tree I cutback last year I wanna know where you get the burlap, pvc pipes and the rope? I'm probably gonna do mine with vine instead of straw this year.

This pissed me off trying to do this! On the instructions and materials they gave no measurements, no description of the type of pumpkin head, and no detailed descriptions. I spent so much money trying to recreate this and without all that information I couldn’t get it right. So thanks a lot for having me waist a big chunk of my money.
