Hi Jeff and O.G. Loved the video. It's definitely an interesting slug. Since the slug is designed for lock and door busting would it be possible to produce a Part 2 to this video utilizing various types and security-strength rated locks (Padlocks, Cylinder Locks, Etc.) and Door Locks/Handles that might be encountered by police or other security personnel? I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to know if these slugs can really overcome high security locks and handles. Thank you for considering it and thank you for all the great videos.

And then there’s the meter: The metre, symbol m, is the SI unit of length. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the speed of light in vacuum c to be 299792458 when expressed in the unit m⋅s−1, where the second is defined in terms of the caesium frequency ΔνCs. I used the ammo and it blew up my gun. It looks like it was a double powder charge because the brass portion of the shell was fused to the inside of my barrel. We couldn't extract it. I was using a JM Pro Tactical shotgun so the barrel was thicker than most semi-auto shotguns. But it cracked the barrel in the receiver, the receiver was nearly cut in half and the bolt was bent. There are very few parts of my shotgun that weren't destroyed by a single round of this ammo.

It was guns that tought me how to convert to and from metrics. as I live in Europe and learned metrics first.
@gg51156 жыл бұрын
Well now I feel a little harsh, I guess I'll save the Freedom Units joke. If you use metric and post videos, you feel free to use whatever you want man. Somehow it annoys me slightly when Americans make a deal out of it. We tried to switch in the 70s. We really tried. Turns out that units are part of the language, and changing it is like changing the language overnight, which really can't be done. At least not here it can't - the Murican language is sort of ingrained at this point. And it's just units of measure - there's no payoff. It's the same amount of gas, but now the numbers are scrambled and everything you knew is gone. You have to relearn all your numbers from scratch now. Good luck with that at the age of, whatever. For what? Why? Turns out there was no good reason.
@exploatores6 жыл бұрын
I get that alot, for some reason, even in gun videos, they think that only americans has any reason to know how to convert the numbers. A lot of europeans, even in with a weapons intrest can´t convert the numbers. when it comes to mesurement most american have a Idea of what a gallon is and if 22.7 gallons per mile is good for a car of that size. most europeans have a idea if 9 liter /100 km is good for that car. only a few can say if any on the cars use less gas.

Really? Only 1 western nation survived your banking systems GFC unscathed. While metric is the standard in Australia, we still use the antiquated Imperial system interchangeably. How does if feel living in yesterday?

I think it would be awesome to have a mirror placed nearby the target so we could see the exit of the bullet. Several mirrors would allow simultaneous perspectives with one camera 👍

Seven eights of an ounce?! This can't be serious. US people are trolling the rest of the world when they pretend they use this kind of measurements. xD

LMAO. Welcome to the American way of measuring. We go all the way down to 64ths fairly commonly.

It's not the fractions that are the problem, it's the units. Metric is ALL fractions :)
@joejoelesh11976 жыл бұрын
Capta Praelium but metric uses a common factor (units of 10). If we used oz. and then reduced them in units of 10, I think the Metric croud would at least not give is that blank stare when we tell them the size of something. I got about 1/4 way through a small construction project with a friend from Asia. When our two sides were suppose to meet up, we found out that he never noticed that the marks in the tape measure were 1/8" marks not 1/10s. It was not the Inches that had him thrown, it was the strange denominator.

Actually - halves, quarters, eighths, 16s, 32s 64s 128s... are far superior fractions than getting only tenths and hundredths. All the computers in the world agree that metric is stupid.
