@@taofledermaus A lot of it cant be done in a single surgery due blood loss or the risks of doing it are higher than benefit.Sometimes birdshot goes deep near vital organs, Lead is bad for organism and it will cause lead poisoning.They give you pills for that but if there are too many pellets it can be very serious. They should ban lead in every shotgun rounds,its a modern times and we have machines that can produce better quality rounds its not 1800's anymore.

@big0bad0brad It was pretty spot on at the 18 yards they used for the other tests compared to a lot of creations, until the woman shot at Brandon from 50 yards. I'm sure she's a good shot, but I would've liked to see more at 25 and 50 yards to get a better feel for the accuracy at those ranges.

yeah this deserves further investigation. Looks like the steel disc is driving the rods, that’s probably why they bend when they fan out. I wonder if a cleaner resin fill would help too. The resin is holding together nicely at firing for being so frangible at impact.

Knackers yards were where cattle carcasses had meat and offal sorted. Hence the expression "It's knackered".... In southern England such yards were also known as the "Shambles". Many towns in the SW of England still have streets or covered yards called the Shambles. Nice vid Thanks and blessings from the UK.

0:33 I wonder; just to reduce cost, you could substitute the 19 SS rods w/ the same number of carbon steel rods cut from old steel wire cloths hangers? Then encapsulate w/ the epoxy(?) to the extent that the bare steel doesn't come in contact w/ air that could cause oxidation if the corrosion resistant coating is damaged. A round like this would certainly shred venison, like the water jug.

Those slugs are INCREDIBLE! Nicely done Brian!! The reason they slide to the right is because they work so doggone well!

@CplSkiUSMC

@@taofledermaus If you adjust to the left, it won't work as well... if at all. In fact, if you adjust left and can manage to get it to work, you'll be required to pay it $20/hr minimum wage. Keep it to the right. Not only does it work, but it won't quit working before the job is done... as evidenced by the lead plate.

This is one of the most impressive rounds you guys have ever showcased. Just every test was amazing to watch, seeing what it could do to soft and hard targets, as well as at range. If any custom shells y'all have done deserves a commercial production line, this one is it. Man, I feel like I'm a paid shill with this talk, but I'm legitimately impressed.

I think the needles are flying sideways through the gel block. The one or two that flew straight went considerably further.

This is the most devastating round for water containers!! I have not seen anything disintegrate jugs like that. That was amazing! And, putting a couple of drops of food dye in the round itself clearly shows the routing within the gel models! Good work all around!!!
