I just put a 50" long niche in my bathroom and want to make sure I tape it correctly. This was the first video I saw and was mesmerized by it, lol... I love that there was no tutorial. I cannot stand the boring chit chat so many people engage in when teaching something. LOVED the music... Thanks for the info!

(Noobie here) Started watching, thinking "wtf?" Mess, slop, random. 2 minutes later I'm "holy shit!". Hats off to the mudder. I learned heaps. Time to go make a total mess of it!

I notice this bead is rigid,can you still get the flex metal tape on a roll ? I did this for 17 years but stopped about 30 years ago.

Are you only applying mud to the corner tape?

Where did you get the corner bead? And what brand is it?

what does the extra tape on the corners help with?
@Interior_Works2 жыл бұрын
It's common for hairline cracks to form at the corners over time. The extra tape will prevent it.

Always start from the middle flattening tape...

That's good advice for a long joint across a whole wall to prevent the tape from bunching up. Short tapes makes no difference where the wiping starts. All those tapes wiped perfectly in the video.
