I'm a 10 year old girl (I have the maturity of a 16 year old.) I use to be like the lamest person in school and every time I do parkour at recess Everyone would gather up around me and go like "wooaah". I got a broken bone every month and when I don't the first aid lady would be like "Haven't seen you in a long time" and I'm just like Dude, It's just been 5 weeks. It's really weird and great being able to do parkour. Even if you think you can't do it JUST DO IT (Shia laboeouf)

Best places to train: 1) parks 2) schools 3) parkour gyms Best shoes: *your own bare feet* but it's dangerous so 1) minimalist shoes (wide and flexible for developing technique) 2) running shoes (wide and for trying out new moves because the thicker soles give more protection) Injures Key points 1) technique 2) condition 3) nutrition How to avoid jamming joints 1) flexibility 2) rest Knee capitations 1) using proper technique (lift hips) 2) check surfaces Slipping up on jumps 1) technique (keep feet together) Drops 1) parkour roll - forward momentum How to master parkour with couch 12:43

When I was 6 me and my friends used to challenge each other to jump off a wall one day one of my friends bet me a giant bar of chocolate that he got for his birthday that I wouldnt jump it. I am serious about chocolate so I took the challenge I climbed the wall and stood 7 feet up in the air. I jumped and landed in the parkour roll my next door neighbour saw me and brought me to his local training group I now love parkour and I still have that chocolate bar wrapper (it was delicious) 🍫

thing about the roll when you hit the ground! I don't know if this has been said yet but the way the roll helps because of impulse. Impulse is the total force of impact you will feel regardless of deceleration time (the time it takes for you to stop the movement of the fall). Impulse = impact x time. So the roll works by increasing the time, hence it will decrease the impact by a gargantuan and it will mean you will be able to take the impact.

Mmm, probably genetics. I have a little brother whose strong and he works out almost every day, but he's naturally really skinny so his muscles don't show up as much either. He's got a condition (he told me after he saw his doctor) that apparently its like twice as hard for him to actually accumulate muscle mass. So yeah, that might be it.....but I'm sure your beard helps too. *****

Nothing scientific about what you just said, certainly not anything that is substantiated by real/hard evidence, so please stop spreading pseudoscience. Moreover, anybody that has ever observed male athletes in high school vs female athletes can see the males are leaps and bounds beyond the females in ability. That's not even debatable, it's just the way it is. That's why males and females are segregated in athletics and even today when there are inter-gender athletics, the requirements for integration are grounded in this fact. When a female wants to cross over into a male sport she must be a high achiever athletically to compete with the males while the male athletes must show they are subpar male athletes to be allowed to compete with the females. That being said, it's good the OP wants to participate in Parkour and should be encouraged to do so, just not by citing pseudoscience.

I get you have a website, but that intro smelled like those "I've got the answer and I'm going to suck up 30 minutes of your life telling you how much you want it before finally mentioning it's for sale" kind of adds, but you DID totally start giving useful information about halfway through. Appreciated, and will be applied.

@TayWardrp

@sigspearthumb3904
@sigspearthumb3904 7 жыл бұрын
I'd say it depends on how solid the hay bales are. Because if it's nice and firm it should be alright. But another thing to consider is that it's very loose even then which can lead to inconsistency in your jump. Otherwise considering safety I suppose it'd be alright assuming you don't have the hay bale on a concrete floor of a barn or something.

He forgot important things like Dont eat or drink anything before parkour or exercise Dont do parkour unless you have stretched or done exercise cause then you can really hurt your body badly and ill tell you why.so if you wanna feel good doing parkour then you should stretch also when your flexible then you can move around alot easier plus before doing parkour you should exercise cause a good warm up will make the body fully ready to take on extreme obstacles and stuff plus it prevents bones from breaking so easily Ive been doing parkour for a long time now long enough to know that all of that is very important and if you chose to ignore this you wont feel good at all when you do parkour and its just not healthy you can vomit at doing extreme exercises if you dont prepare your body for it

I read something where you are ready if you can do so many push ups, pull ups and squats. I'm just starting and not only am I old, overweight, but I'm a girl too! I'm starting SLOWLY it's helped me lose 10 pds already! I'm not doing hard moves but a lot of running, exercise, eating well. It's motivating me. Not that long ago I was sitting in my bed reading a book thinking about how pathetic I was. I have some legit health issues that can cause some bad things if they are not taking care of. Then I realized I cannot waste my Life thinking I'm too fat and too old I'm a girl I'm out of shape no way could I do that Theyll laugh at me . I said screw it. I got my fat ass out of the house and started walking every single day. And I would jump over things that I would encounter along the way. Jump on and off of the curb sideways. That type of stuff. Sure I was doing some baby parkour stuff but who cares I lost 10 pounds in less than a month.
