Great talk. Shame is a feeling that I’m not ok. John Bradshaw’s books were considered ground breaking work on shame. Addiction is a shame based behavior.

I think it's multi-factor... A white millionaire entrepreneur is higher on the caste than a black millionaire entrepreneur. But that black millionaire entrepreneur is higher on the caste than any broke white (or non-white) person. Out of two equally broke people, the person of colour is often viewed as lower on the caste.
