In regards to the trigger, it can be drastically improved by replacing the striker spring. They are interchangeable with Glock striker springs. I put a 5 lb Glock spring in mine and it’s so much better.

You should check out the newer Tara TM-9X. The TM-9 has been out since something like 2014. The 9x is a huge improvement. I have both.

New viewer and subscriber. Well done lad, Great presentation and information on the Tera and it's trigger value. Above the SCCY CPX2 trigger for sure

An M17 Glock 3 pound striker spring lowered the trigger pull on my Tara from 12 pounds to 6.5 pounds. Still says bang every time and you can hit what you shoot at.

Mine had a lot of problems which I fixed with quite some effort (I am in Canada and you better fix the gun you have, there are no new ones). The trigger bar had a few issues and I managed to weld it...

Mine feels really good and the recoil wasn't bad at all. The only down side is the long trigger pull on the first shot but under duress you won't be sending a round where you don't want to hit. I kind of think of that as a "safe" aspect. The DA/SA is super smooth and follow up shots are easy. I know some will say it feels cheap but to me a Glock feels cheap. I have owned several Glocks and their triggers were always lacking.

Hi dear how are you and how's going the life hope all are fine, what do you suggest about Tara tm9 ,do it's dependable and reliable pistol for self defense and cancel carry plz inform about thanks

Between my tokarev and my 1911 and the Tara, Id pick the Tara for self defense. You can carry one in the chamber without worrying about it going off, ever...

I just got one,and disapointed,,no manual no lock nothing,the zippers broke when opening the 1st time,,mags are horrible matt full of scratches out of the bag,,to me it is as if they just put a used one that was returned and sold as new
@jeffrey._.westerby-murphy7268 Жыл бұрын
Oh man! I thought the same thing, the zippers broke before I even got in to see the gun! I thought shit that's a bad sign. But after I gut use to the trigger I'm shooting groups at 20 yards that make one big hole. 16 shots 2 inch group, I'm ok with it now...

For some reason mine doesn't always restrike. The trigger doesn't reset. Only after shaking it around it sometimes resets itself. Does anybody know what part is the issue?
@MaxMinXX Жыл бұрын
At least it does not looks like a hi-point.
@beretta92x932 жыл бұрын
You never showed how the gun has a reset that is a much lighter trigger pull,that's a big piece of info you left out.
@FirearmsofAmerica2 жыл бұрын
That's a great point! I think I missed it because the pull felt practically the same lol I gotta check next time I am at Shooters!
@jeffrey._.westerby-murphy7268 Жыл бұрын
Yah you gotta release the trigger super slow at first, then it'll click to a smaller reset with less weight. I actually kinda like mine
@richardturk7162 Жыл бұрын
I agree the trigger is not that bad I got used to it quickly.

For that price I would take a Taurus G3 or G3C over this without hesitation. At least you found a pistol that Glock beats.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just No unless it would be a throw away pistol like in a home defence case the police will take the gun used and some don't give it back without a lot of legal action if ever. Other than that I have zero interest.

Not everyone has 600 or more dollars for a better pistol. There's a time and place for this gun, with broke people like me.

@@jeffrey._.westerby-murphy7268 actually if you plan and save you can get whatever firearm you want. Inexpensive doesn’t mean quality or dependability ever. If it’s your life or a loved one’s life I want something I know is going to work every time.
