My main guard with regular spider and lasso/spider. You and Romulo are my biggest inspirations when it comes to collar spider :D

I am working with these two from this guard, the first reminded me a tomoe nage so I loved it. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Dom, been watching and using tarantula since you were purple. Always great stuff

Appreciate it man! Is it your main guard?

@@DubiousDom It's one of my top go-to guards! It's not very leveled up, but it's improving over time. I don't train with anyone who does it, so I've had to try to develop it through studying your matches (especially purple and brown when you used it a ton) and your videos and trying to work it in my sparring.

@@justnjitsu sick! I’m going to release some specific sparring footage where I use it exclusively, so you’ll have much more study material soon bro. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Truly appreciate the tarantula guard stuff. I’m slowly developing it. Two stripe white belt (just got my second stripe last night) so I’m taking my time. Please keep it coming.🙏

thanks for this Dom, learning tarantula has massively helped my guard game thank you. For this specific sweep, i've found it's common for the person on top to step over the sweeping foot (even if they are just stumbling). If they do step over it, is there a instant counter you like?

Hey man from my experience, the transition to SLX or traditional X is right there because of the angle you have after they catch themselves.
