Hi there! I don't really know that much about tarantulas. What little bit that I do know I've learned from the different youtubers who care for them. There's one that I watch all the time called Dave's Little Beasties. He breeds his T's all the time. And just like you he pulls his egg sack early. The only difference is he puts the eggs w/leggs in a big deli cup with the bottom cut out w/some stocking material wrapped around it. And then he gets another deli cup with room temperature water in it, and he puts one in the other and then puts the babies in the cup with the stocking and covers it with no air holes. And then he puts them in an incubator . Hes had very good success rate. I wish you good luck!

Aww what a good mama! 🥺 The eggs with legs are so cute!

Great video, showing the whole process. How often do large healthy spiders like this one breed, given timely visits from a male? It took months for the egg sac to be produced and to mature. It seems like you pulled it at the perfect time. Much longer and there would have been baby spiders running around mama’s enclosure. By the way, the species name “pulchripes” means “pretty foot” if I recall my high school Latin. I imagine the scientist naming these animals admiring their beauty.

That is great! I would be afraid to destroy the sac when pulling it out, but you did a good job. The eggs with legs are super cute. It always looks as if such are fat. I guess there are around 65 in there.

Awe, February 25 is my daughters bday 🥰 I don’t have any T’s but I’m looking to get my first. Not sure if I want an Old World but if I do, I want one of these. I’ve been an arachnophobe my whole life but after discovering your channel (along with a few others), I became fascinated with them and convinced my kids and husband that we should get one. Love your channel, the little eggs with legs are adorable 😍

@@Reptiliatus Thank you for your reply! I have few species I like but I’m not sure if they’re right for a new keeper. My dream species would be the Brazilian Black, Ephebopus Murinus, Blue Fang, Arizona Blonde, Acanthoscurria Geniculata and Theraphosa Apophysis but I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew. I’m trying to get everything ready before getting the actual T, at least the things I can without knowing the species I’m getting.
