Correction on the lifespan of how long those beetles can live. 8-13 years on average. The world's longest living Blue Death Feigning Beetle record reached 17 years old. So definitely a really LONG time. I know this and BDFBs are one of my favorites when it comes to beetles other than tarantulas. Heck, even got a title in some places that shows that I've been knowledgeable on keeping. Also... OMG your daughter has the same name as my sister! She's my youngest sibling, she's like 10(?) sometimes I forget lol. I'm her 26 year old sibling and she absolutely loves bugs in general. In fact, you made me think about talking to her about what she would think about having these guys. Man, I've been following you for a short bit and glad I am now. Ah I absolutely love millipedes and isopods but I don't like centipedes 😭. I had a Florida Ivory millipede named Amelia.

Definitely recommend like.... 1 Pound more leaf litter for the millipedes. Leaf litter and decaying wood is super important for me If you have nothing else in a millipede enclosure, you should have a ton of leaf litter and a ton of decaying hardwood

My Davus sp Panama is one of my favorite tarantulas. It's a pretty slow moving species and mine will do that super slow deliberate movements as well. It's one of two tarantulas that I have successfully pinch grabbed over the past 17 years of keeping. Even some of the feedings are that slow. I have a video of mine slowly feeling a super worm before casually pulling into its burrow then biting. Truly a fun species!

I love your spiders! I was watering in my back yard and a Huge wolf spider ran by my shoe. I was so amazed at it's size,I tried to catch it to show my Mom..but he was so fast😂😂I don't keep them,but share my back yard with my " pet" spiders😊😊. My Mom calls all the jumping spiders my kids,because I escort them back out side.That lava spider is awesome!!!

i find those millipedes all summer they love all kinds fruits and veggies, some get quite large bigger than 5 inches... sometimes one will show up in my bathroom somehow, have saved the babies out of the tub even.

It’s so hard to tell what size the vials they arrive in. When I watched the bigger tarantula come out (the one with the toe) I was amazed that fit in that tube. Curious on how the heck they get wrapped and put in there? Just wow! The butt wiggle was funny! (Former arachnophobic) 😃
