Thank you for the review that’s so wild all the technology and they didn’t make an app for it to control volume levels.

First review I've seen that showed me that rear compartment for cables! Excellent. I think I'm gonna go for a couple of these. Thanks for your thoughts and especially what you've had before. It puts your opinion in context.

Good review. I think using the soundboks Go to reference a soundboks gen 3 or 4 is probably wrong because the GO is a consumer speaker while the actual Soundboks is a real PA speaker.

I typically don't need that much power, so I'm considering replace a pair of k12.2 with them. Do toy think its a good trade off? Pros: - smaller speakers and BT - maybe better sound quality? Cons: - smaller buffer and loudness but i don't need that much anyway
@tarekith14 күн бұрын
I'm not sure what it would gain you other than if you need the whole wireless aspect. The K12.2 are pretty good sounding and they have built in EQ which these do not. But if the 12.2's are just more than you need, then yes these would be nice and give you a little more flexibility in how you use them.

Hi there! I’m looking to replace my old JBLs and was wondering if you’d recommend these as indoor monitors? While I don’t need wireless functionality, I’d likely use it a few times a year. I primarily use the monitors for DJing house parties in my living room (I live in a house, so volume isn’t a major concern). There are so many options out there, and I’ve done quite a bit of research, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. I’d love your expert opinion or any recommendations you might have for indoor monitors that would suit my needs. I’m willing to invest in quality gear, so I just want to make sure I’m making the right choice. Thanks so much for your time and help!

I think if you're not going to be using the battery and wireless aspects, these end up being rather expensive for what they are. You'd be better off waiting to find a sale on something like the QSC K12.2 speakers, which I also have and like a lot.

@@LindseyLockwood The Wsve 8’s are great speakers, don’t get me wrong. You’re just paying a premium for the battery life and wireless aspects.
@LindseyLockwood22 күн бұрын
@@tarekith My number one would be quality of sound. I do find it interesting with the Wave8 being wireless. If it's splitting hairs in sound, the wireless is interesting, but sound sound sound. :)
@tarekith22 күн бұрын
@@LindseyLockwood Then 12.2’s will be better then, they have onboard EQ which the Wave 8’s just don’t offer. Easier to dial those into a specific room that way.

This is so interesting. Pushing 70% volume on my wave eight d I'm lucky to get two hours on mine. I wonder if mine is defective.... You really get about 8 hours at around 80% volume?

Yes, or at least relatively close to it. Are you using it in a really hot or cold environment?

Hey bud. Could I ask for your step by step guidance if possible as I cannot for the life of me figure it out after an hour. How do I daisy chain two of these speakers together? I’ve got one speaker connected via Bluetooth to my phone which is great, but I cannot get the second speaker to pair with the speaker im connected to
@DJBlakeleyec2 ай бұрын
@@av3675 for Bluetooth connectivity.... after connecting one speaker to a Bluetooth device, You place both speakers close to each other. Simultaneously hold down the speaker pair button on both speakers for 1 second. That should pair it. No need to do anything with transmitters

I don’t personally believe recording a loud speaker outside with a camera mic really provides any sort of meaningful info. Too many variables at play without any sort of standardized method of doing it.
