I've been banging away at mine for a week now. I've had one arrow completely penetrate the target, still stopped it before the fletchings hit the target face. It does now have a hole wore into it. I still feel I can get 6 months plus out of it. Love how a target face lays flat on it. It gets two thumbs up from me.

I left a previous comment on here giving the High Roller 2 thumbs up. I just purchased a new one maybe 2 months ago. The new one must be made from a different formula. As I will be fletch deep in 40-50 arrows, pass through's shortly thereafter. Blows a hole in the opposite side the diameter of the white spots. I can attest that my old one is in better shape after pounding away at it for the better part of a year vs. my new one with 2 months on the clock. Morrell will get a nice e-mail from me too, with pics. Hopefully my old one will last the rest of the year, I trust that it will.

How does this compare to the Rhinehart target? My Rhinehart is hell pulling arrows out without lube

What about broadhead use? I typically only shoot broadheads into a target right before hunting season to try and determine if there is any change in the arrows trajectory over various distances with the broadhead.

Great question! I too don't shoot my broadheads often, and at the time I filmed this I had not. But now less than a week out I have shot over half a dozen Magnus buzzcut shots at this target. I have of course seen increased penetration, which is to be expected. But even with all the shooting I couldn't get an arrow to get more than 10-12" of penetration, even at 20 yards. Very pleased!

Just bought one and really like it. Easy arrow removal. Thanks for the review.

I tried a new block infinity target with my new crossbow and it blew threw it on the first shot. Moved back to 40 yards same thing. Both bolts buried up to the fletching. I took it back to the archery shop and they gave me this target. 100% better. Stopped bolts and easy to pull out. Buy this target.

I was wondering when this target would get a video review and by whom. It has always looked appealing to me, but as a recurve target archer (mostly) who builds his own wooden box targets (very similar to bag) I haven't "needed" it yet. I am considering getting into big game hunting, but for now, the rabbits on my property are enough.

Would have been better if you would have shot a crossbow at 370 FPS into the target and show how far it went in and ease of removal. I know you said it was easy but showing would have been more convincing!

How did it hold up compared to other targets - especially with broadheads - since your initial review?
@averagejackarchery3 жыл бұрын
Much better than any foam target I have used previously. Blocks and Black Holes just lost all compression and stopping power within a few broadhead shots. My High Rollers have done so much better as the entire 360deg surface is shootsable. So I pick corners for broadheads and leave the inside for field points.

Has anyone tried the big shot titan??

I own this target as well... or At least I did until I threw it into the trash after less then a year. Did not have the same experience you did I had around 50 shots into one dot on the Target before it started blowing chunks out the back side. Never shot broadheads at it, all field points. Morrell did their research and designed this target to be extremely cheap to manufacture. This target cost them less then 10 dollars to produce and they sell it for 100 bucks. I wouldn't buy another one unless they were in the 50 dollar price range. Common since tells you that a target of these dimensions will naturally for you to shoot center dot at anything past 40 yards causing premature failure of the center of the target.

That's sad to hear! I didn't experience any chunking of any kind until I started putting broadheads into it, and then it started to go in the spot I would shoot broadheads at. It still stops arrows over a year in but I have to keep it in a cardboard box to not litter little red foam chunks through my yard. I usually only get a year out of a foam target so the High Rollers life span is on par if not farther than anything I've owned before. Especially now that it has become my exclusive broadhead target.

How is the target holding up since this video
@averagejackarchery5 жыл бұрын
Like a champ! Literally thousands of arrows including broadheads and still going strong. The middle has gone too soft to be 💯 reliable at stopping everything but I've yet to get a passthrough on any part of the target.

these are good targets, but i shoot every day from 5pm untill 2 am or 3am in the morning, this target didnt last a month, i know its due to my excessive shooting but i would think it would last a littl longer than that
