I will try. Is it the hammer on or the half barre you want further information on?

Dude your video is phenomenal - I've been working on this part 1 for some time, taking it slow and only moving on after I've gotten somewhat proficient at it - sometimes it'll only be 1or 2 bars at a time...this is *by far* the most difficult and complicated piece I've ever taken on and I wouldn't be able to do it without you - thanks *so* much for taking the time to teach us this amazing and magical piece of music...I feel fortunate to have progressed, through countless hours of practice (no virtuoso here, lol), to even be able to learn and play this piece... cheers! 🎼🎼🎼

@@robertcronin6603🙏 Thank you for reaching out and letting me know. This is the reason I do these videos and pieces. I firmly believe with some effort (and a visual guide) a lot of these pieces are approachable. I look for forward to hearing how you fair with the 2and part. 🤘🙂

Is there a chance you could do a lesson on Leo Brouwer's "Toccata de Pasquini?" Honestly I would pay for It!
@ClassicalGuitarRocks4 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for the comment! :-) Lorenzo, sure. I have a small lesson on it (the Toccata) in the pipeline as the RH for that movement is linked to Etude No. 1 by Villa-Lobos (If you can play that, it is only half the pattern in the Brouwer). But if you want a private lesson let me know. I am teaching online too!

Hey :) How fast should this played? Some versions are around 3:30 minutes long, some are around 4 minutes or longer, which means that it varies from 120 bpm to 150 bpm. Also I have a video suggestion if you don't mind. List of classical music styles, or forms (Etude, sonata, prelude). I really don't know the difference. Etude in e-minor from Tarrega is beautiful. Wow heard it today.
@ClassicalGuitarRocks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Igor, it's as fast as you think it needs to be - musically. Generally though #tremolo only works after 120 bpm (the aural illusion it creates needs to be a certain speed) so anything after that speed will work. The main thing is making sure the notes are even, slow or fast will not work with uneven #tremolo. Hope that helps? And sure what is you're suggestion?

@@ClassicalGuitarRocks I like recuerdos, and I have reached 110 bpm on a gibson les paul without fingernails. My suggestion is for people who want get familiar with classical guitar but come from different background (rock, blues,fingerstyle). General overview of this music (relevant to the guitar), the list of guitar techniques, sth like that. You have an amazing content on your channel, I've seen many others with really good pieces, but there isn't a video on youtube that gives that for a classical guitar. There are videos of flamenco forms and lists of flamenco techniques with short video explanations.

@@igorperic5232 110 is fantastic, if the notes are even...it will sound faster. 👍🙂 So, so I get this correct, you would like to see a crossover video of the techniques of classical guitar for an electric player?
@igorperic52324 жыл бұрын
@@ClassicalGuitarRocks Yes. This micro study is the best insight of the left hand on a classical guitar on youtube. So for example what would be the requirements of the right hand (150 bpm tremolo, 150 bpm apoyando (picado), 120 arpeggio patterns) and for the left hand for someone who is making a transition from other genres of music. Also few bonus questions :) 1. How many classical pieces do you know to play (how many should one classical guitarist have in their repertoire)? 2. What is the most advanced classical guitar piece you know? Where would recuerdos be on that scale? 3. How long does it take for you to learn one classical piece (considering the fact that you have nailed your right hand and you have a lot of experience with unsual chord changes) ? 4. What would you suggest for electroclassical guitar? I love reverb and delay and I love to add those to moonlight sonata from Beethoven. That sounds amazing in my opinion. 5. Do you play flamenco?
