The shadow of Clayton's hanging body was always there. some might have missed it since the focus of the camera is mostly on his machette and Tarzan. I had a friend who didn't noticed it either but later on saw it and was flabbergasted an image like this passed the censors. yet again, we did see Tarzan's parent's corpses lying there as well, blood and all. Me too, as a kid all I remembered the scene from Carla finding the treehouse was the feathers floating on the ground, I only saw the blood and the parents’ bodies when I was older (like 10+ years I guess). And then years later I learned about Clayton’s scene from some movie trivia page. Guess I was not the brightest kid!

I saw it when the movie came out. My parents and younger siblings missed it then, thankfully.... But yeah. Years later, they were shocked to see what they had missed too. I have a theory... Most young kids may see the image and not know what it means and discount/forget it... There are ALOT of adult references in our childhood Fave movies...

Tarzan actually has a special place in my heart, cause since I was three up until I was 14 I was part of a local dance studio in my hometown. We performed a gala at the local theatre every year, and one of the themes that we did the most was Disney ❤️❤️. What makes Tarzan special though is that it was actually the first time I ever performed a solo after I went up to the advanced level, and I played the part of Jane. I had the movie so I watched it for the first time in a while to see how to style myself, and ever since watching it has brought up that memory 😍❤️. I performed a routine to You’ll Be In My Heart and Strangers Like Me, and it ended up being one of the last times I ever performed as a full time member. That memory is super special to me, and recently my old instructor sent out a message to all older members available to RSVP for a special 20th anniversary performance ❤️❤️. So I’m gonna return there soon and hopefully see some of my older classmates. Thanks for bringing up such a special memory of my childhood Cody, and I’m exited for Beauty And The Beast cause it’s one of my favorites ❤️❤️
