Amazing run. One problem with classic Sonic TASes is how most of it is spent waiting for the end of level score to finish counting. It's so unfortunate that of all games Sonic feels the slowest to watch because of this. Sure, the base gameplay and gamebreaking screenwraps are there. End level entertainment also can be something. But honestly I dread it more than the occasional autoscroll level in certain games, especially Mario 3's airships.

excuse the nerd here but my understanding of classic sonic physics is since you are in a wall, and push (usually) left, it pushes you right, because I'm guessing pushing is a state used to prevent the player from entering walls while on the floor so if you push while sonic faces left, it rapidly accelerates you right, trying to push you back, thus launching sonic so fast that sometimes the sprites don't load and it just keeps launching you since it still thinks your in that chunk as pushing never usually makes you leave a chunk (the different level layout squares that make up the level)

@@sup2069 The pit that takes you to hidden palace in the 2013 remake has you die in the Genesis version. It’s in the bottom middle of the level. You have to miss the pull switch to fall down there
