Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a critically acclaimed first-person action game released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997. It stars a hero of controversial descent, being a pre-Colombian Native American time-travelling warrior, referred to as Turok. As such, he must stop an evil entity known as The Campaigner from conquering the universe with a time-controlling artifact called the Chronoscepter (amazing, really). This also was the reason for stuffing the game full with anachronisms, so you'll see high-tech weapons and teleporters together with magic crossbows and dinosaurs.
Turok has been famous for being the first fog navigation simulator of its time. The omnipresent fog was included to obscure the low rendering distance that was used in order to increase performance on N64's hardware, but it also resulted in a somewhat claustrophobic feeling throughout the game. To further confuse the disoriented player, the majority of wall textures are nondescript and repetitive, making it easy to get lost at times.
WARNING: This run includes flashing lights with every item pickup that may cause epileptic seizures to those affected. Also, due to various complaints of motion sickness caused by the strafe-running technique utilized, the viewer is encouraged to keep an airsickness bag handy in case of sudden nausea.

5:33 I think there can be a faster way to take the key. When jump from the pyramid platform (Where there are several 2+ health and a little room with purple spheres). I could jump diagonally from the corner to another platform. And from there up to the key. But i dont know it works it N64 version.

If you're aiming with the controller it'd better be accurate and have the most% of shootable body on it I played through the first one on n64 it was not fun. Did the pc one in 5 hours glorious upgrade with mouse controls almost feels like cheating.

At the risk that you might be joking, that camera trick is done on games like this and GoldenEye so the player's speed increases even more, from the lack of object that need rendering.
