I always liked to think that Knuckles would be the go to for Perfect rings, since he is a treasure hunter. Also that Crawla glide to get to Amy's path was genius.

Makes sense why he debuted in sonic 3, considering the metal shield makes it possible to collect some of the broken ring placements unlike sonic 2

@@derekg5006 in Sonic 3, it was the Lightning Shield. The yellow one here is known as the attraction shield, which has a homing attack ability.
