You're videos are totally informative and complete dedication to informing us about Model 12..so grateful for these. I have a question. Can you plug standard keyboards directly in to the mixer?.. I mean those such as regular Yamaha, etc that have powered built in sound. I see so many others talk about plugging in instruments..but they always pick a damn guitar which of course is not internally powered. I just want to make sure I can before I pay the $600 for this great mixer and blow it up the first day... lol... I would love you to do one dedicated to the proper way if possible to plug them in.. thank you :o)

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you can absolutely connect virtually any audio signal into the mixer, apart from speaker outputs! It has 2 stereo line level inputs, meaning one fader for L+R. I connect my KORG and ROLAND keys and they sound great. Use the line level outputs and not the headphone outputs. Have the volume no more than 3/4 up and use the gain on the mixer to get a good signal. Have fun recording.

Thanks. I got stuck with another video. Now I can move faders and the rest will come. I don't see exactly where you push to go to track 9 and 10. But thanks a lot !

Use the Bank button on the M12 to select next set of 8 faders.

Are the Eq and Comp Knobs also usable to control other things? and how would you configure it? Thank you so much in advance!

Reaper seems to think the FX fader is the Main or Master fader. Is there some way of changing this? I noticed in your video you didn't try moving the Main fader. Nothing happens when I move mine. But if I move the FX fader then the Master fader in Reaper moves.
@RecordingStudio9 Жыл бұрын
That is correct. As per the M12 manual, in DAW mode, the FX fader is the DAW Main Bus Fader controller, allowing you to use the M12 MAIN to control the playback volume of your speakers.

I did everything in the tutorial, but when i use my midi keyboard, it does not work. I have a Roland XV-88, and it does not work with the settings in the video. Should I try something else, or is there something that I'm doing wrong?

Not sure what your Roland XV-88 e-piano has to do with this video.

Thanks for taking the time, but my Reaper (v 6.23) look nothing like your (v5.99) so it wasn' that useful to me and I haven't got it working yet. Would you consider installing Reaper anew just for demonstration purposes?

I’ll see what I can do. 👍

is this possible with the model 24?
@RecordingStudio92 жыл бұрын
No, only Model 12, as it's digital, where Model 16/24 are analog mixers.
