I read an interview where Alan said the upside-down face was his very first task. He really hadn't figured out the mood of the show yet and felt lost.

"Can you distill what is interesting about looking at sport?" is one of my favorite sentences ever uttered. R.O.Salind in the sport scores referred to the team task where they wrote songs about a lady named Rosalind, who i think might have done the long jump.

It would be so easy for someone like Victoria to fall into the category of obnoxious and annoying posh person but she owns it so well and manages to be so likable and funny.

Indeed - she's a total nightmare, but she jumps quite far (for a woman of her age)

Chesham United is Alex Horne's local football team, whose ground featured in Series 5, and who are actually sponsored this season by Taskmaster, so play every match with TASKMASTER emblazoned across their chests.

By this point in a series I always know who you're going to inevitably give "The Mel" to. This time? I don't. Morgana is the perfect agent of excessive Chaos. Victoria is the perfect agent of excessive Order. Both are hilarious as such. But Guz is so lovable. You could honestly go with ANY of them.

I would love to see you react to QI if at all possible. Also , the effort on the prize tasks was noticed and deeply appreciated. ( Not from the beggining , starting on later seasons is recommended)

Alan is a comedian, he appreciates a good joke. I'm sure he has a right old laugh with Victoria about the ManUnited ticket. And about people who believed she didn't know, what she was doing.

I absolutely love horrible histories I recommend the Australia song, the Spanish armada, Bob hale reports and Shouty man. Definitely watch a few compilations of each time period. This was the first show by the 6 idiots based on the book by Terry Deary who also starred in some of the skits the show ran from 2008 to 2013 spanning 5 seasons season 6 which were character focus specials then they left to do Yonderland and the quality plummeted. Puritans were awful, they were the pilgrims and they were the ones who conquered Ireland. When Charles I was executed for treason Oliver Cromwell took over and the UK became a Republic, but then his nephew was a terrible leader so the restoration movement took over brought back the monarchy with Charles II and everything fun was restored by him.

If you mean three of the Deathly Hallows at the same time, he didn't have them all at the same time. He had the wand and cloak before giving the cloak to Harry in his first year, then he found the ring with the Resurrectionn Stone in Harry's sixth year.

QI is absolutely worth a watch, although I would personally recommend starting from maybe series E onwards. That's the point where the show really got into a great stride, and you'll start to recognize more and more of the guests as the years go by. But that's only my personal opinion.

It was just two double negatives. How did Victoria get that wrong?
@coro4ever6 күн бұрын
I maintain that the answer is wrong because "under no circumstances" is a phrase that does not notify a negative. It just means "that no matter what happens." So you must do the opposite of ringing the bell. It should not actually be simple math because not all negative words signify a negative. You also need to understand colloquialisms and implied language.
@Jacob_Junge6 күн бұрын
@@coro4ever 'Under no circumstances' means 'never'.
@coro4ever6 күн бұрын
@@Jacob_Junge But it would still come down to "under no circumstance not avoid" meaning to "avoid" and "not making the bell not ring" being to make the bell ring. Then you have to do the opposite! You would have to not ring the bell.
@Jacob_Junge6 күн бұрын
@@coro4ever No, you should do the opposite of avoiding to ring the bell.
