Seriously. I know that Alex likes that section to jab at Greg that Alex' sense of humour differs greatly from Greg's and the joke also is that Greg is annoyed at that part, but in that bit I legit didn't get what the joke even was supposed to be. Like, in pretty much any other banter section, it's a stupid pun or a dumb joke or something silly, here it felt like he legit just babbled on.

I can't believe we've gotten 41 minutes of outtakes from this series - I'm here for all of them (and maybe a Part 4 to come before the series ends?). I thought Nick trying to shuffle away encased in his prison of pool rings was hilarious in the show, but then watching Greg lift him up to save him in the outtakes was even funnier. I think Greg and Nick really need to do some kind of project together.

Greg has been just letting the "joke fart" sit in the air more and more recently, I think he's figured out the way to make Alex rather uncomfortable as well. Alex truly is a weird little troll man, he enjoys telling jokes that are just rancid and terminally unfunny, in order to provoke an actually funny response from a roomful of comedians. Greg has figured out how to make Alex self-conscious about the terribleness: by dragging the bit out for as long as he can, and breaking the fourth wall about how the bit sucks intentionally.
