A Victorian magistrate has described the evidence from Tasmanian Supreme Court Justice Gregory Geason as "contrived and implausible" in her decision to find him guilty of assault and intimidation of a woman in October last year.
Magistrate Susan Wakeling described the woman's evidence as "convincing" and accepted her as a "witness of truth", but said she had difficulties specifically recalling events on the night of the assault due to concussion.
