I really love this channel, have been subscribed for ages, still remembering Justin, of course.. It's just two wholesome dudes that love each other, live together, exploring the culinary world of Japan, without showing any of the modern behaviour people associate negatively with being homosexual. Thank you guys for giving us wholesome content that nobody can dislike ^^

Haha! I'm also a sucker for great packaging, Shinichi. Your super positive reaction to the croissant puffs is making me reconsider my choices. 😋 I'm _so_ happy you're feeling better, both physically and psychologically. Please don't push yourself again. Your happiness and well-being are everything. And, selfishly, I'm hoping you both continue to enjoy making videos for years to come. You've become like family to me and I would miss seeing you if you burnt out. Love to you both. 💜💜

Loved all the snacks, I'm hungry & cooking donner whilst watching! When in Japan I really loved Lawson's rice & pearl barley onigiri with umeboshi - really delicious, I sought them out a lot😄Really like the sound of the chips with perilla leaf, good thing they are not available here or I could be in trouble! I say yes, go back and buy more whilst in stock😋

I love these videos where you're trying new products from my favorite shops! ❤ The first time I visited Japan, I didn't dare to try food from convenience stores. I expected the items to be mediocre (just like they would be in Europe convinience stores), and I was unfamiliar with Japanese ingredients being used in desserts, like anko bean, mochi, sesame , chestnut, etc. But after that visit, I started ordering from Bokksu and got completely hooked! When I went back this spring, I visited convenience stores, especially 7/11, every single evening after a long day of walking. I tried different snacks and drinks each time and was amazed at how tasty and affordable the food was, even the fresh items like onigiri and sushi were so delicious! I think theses stores were more fun for me than visiting large shopping malls 😂 or I must be getting old 😂

You aren't alone in burnout. Many creators from different categories took breaks or slowed down just when I finally made an account to get everyone's notifications. Some great ones haven't come back for months, some appear to have deleted a lot of content😭 Glad you decided to keep going! Yes finding a way to keep enjoying work is important. Some channels that are gone put out a lot, daily or just really involved production. 7 days a week reviews looks like too much? Most people don't have blocks of time to watch every single day anyway!

Team FamilyMart here! Over the years, I've found that out of the big 3, FamiMart always had everything freshly stocked, while providing the calmest shopping experience. 7 and Lawson are fine too, but over the last couple of years have just been inundated with patrons, which I guess is good for business but you always feel rushed. Plus, the Famichiki???? GOAT!!!

@@Shinichisworld My nephew Nicholas is getting married in September this year. His future wife comes from South Korea. They will go there on their honeymoon in May next year. "Maybe" I'll accompany them both. (Only on the way there, not on their honeymoon.) So it would be a good idea if I visited Japan shortly beforehand.

Hi from Australia! Melbourne has been freezing even by our standards! Hitting 0 or 1 degree over night with a "feels like" temperature of -2 and a top of around 12 degrees. If you're coming back to Australia, late spring and early autumn are the best temperatures😊

you inspired my snack vlog. I'm taking a much needed break, yesterday i was in a down word spiral, but i got some news that kind of cheered me up a bit, and 2 weeks till the convention so there's that. I also finished something that i will post in my community threads. it took a lot of blood sweat and tears into this dinky little thing, but i made it all by myself for the most part.

I'm watching your vlog in Newcastle, Australia. It is lunch time and 12 degrees C. The temperature can vary quite a lot from Tasmania to Darwin or Northern Queensland. It snows in many parts of NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania in winter. It is rare to see snow in South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and Northern Territory. In Japan, I love 7-Eleven best - their Onigiri is the best.
@tamara45575 ай бұрын
I would definitely try the okonomiyaki chips, the gapao onigiri and the gyoza (sadly I don't have a family mart near the house I rent in Tokyo). I usually go to the 7/11 because they have an ATM that accepts my bankcard. For snacks and such I usually go to a supermarket, most of the times AEON or whatever supermarket I'm close to. Most snacks I buy are savoury, but I always have to buy yomogi mochi and those waffles filled with custard. I think they have the latter at 7/11. The weather here is typical Dutch. Hot for a few days (like 29C) and now dropped back to around 17C (which is cold for the time of year) and raining again....

My favourite convenience store would depend on which neighbourhood, although, I like them all and wish we had the same here in Australia. I think 7 Eleven Onigiri were best. As for the weather here, in the South it was a cold frosty morning…in the North in Cairns today it’s 28c. So this time of the year in Australia you can technically snow ski in the southern mountainous region and then fly north and snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef.
