Tasting Sinclair / Creamsickle and Carrie Mangos from Florida

This video provides a tasting of a Sinclair / Creamsickle and Carrie mango (monoembryonic) as well as background on these varieties. I also share an update on the seedlings I have growing in my Phoenix Arizona area yard.

You should join the Arizona Rare Fruit Growers group. Once a year we have a Mango tasting of over 50 varieties of Mangos 🥭. Very eye opening of all the different flavors.

Hello Natasha, I tried to grow ataulfo ​​mangoes for two years in a row, but from about a foot high the heat comes and they die and I had them in the shade. But what I grew from seed and hope for all the luck in the world is prickly pear, that of the Nopal or Opuntia ficus-indica. I have three of the red and green red fruit, they are about 2 feet tall. I bought the fruit at Food City and since I like it a lot, I tried and I got 3. Seriously, this cactus is easy to maintain, it withstands droughts and is very noble because it produces its fruit however it wants. Already more grown from the same leaves I can make more grow. You should treat that cactus. In Mexico it is said that "Tuna" (prickly pear) is the food of poor people, but in reality it is from the gods, delicious.

Nice I have about 5 large fruit on my triple sec mango tree here in north phx .. decided to leave a few fruit this 3rd season because its done so well the first 2

That's awesome-Triple Sec is a great variety. My little 3-gallon TS has a ways to go to fruit; I'm looking forward to that day.

I should specify that it was a grafted larger plant ans has been in ground 3 years but it much older lol .. ive been planing seedlings around the yard in pretty rough spots with good success but they're only a few years old

We only have 2 varieties of mangos in our grocery stores here in west Michigan

Same here and they are ok if you have nothing to compare them to. Florida is the biggest producer of mangos in the US and fruit boxes are offered seasonally. Expensive but a great experience to taste some of the top varieties if one really enjoys mangos.
