The first one you tried is walnuts dipped into thickened grape juice. The ones you buy in a store are soft and sweet. The homemade ones can be a bit chewier and tarter, depending on the type of grape and sometimes almonds are used instead of walnuts. A flavour a little like tamarind. I love it. ❤️
@crimeariver24944 жыл бұрын
You are so sweet! Thanks for showing these to the other people too! (And I love how you say you didn't like some things but you were working hard to not to offend anybody! Thats too cute xD) Also yeah, it's called muska but it is because of the shape. Triangle-like shape of it. Also you should try Baklava, and usually there are lot of versions of Baklava, you can choose which one you like but i would suggest you for ones with pistachio! You can also try doing Sekerpare in your house too! I believe it's vegan as well.!
@crimeariver24944 жыл бұрын
Also Tahin&Pekmez is pretty common, sweet breakfast combination too! Pekmez is sweeter and Tahin has a unusual taste but they are great as well. (You buy them seperately, you can pour Tahin near Sekerpare and eat pekmez alone if you wish to)

The triangular one is called muska dessert because it has the same shape as a muska has. And a muska is a piece of paper with verses from Kuran written on it and covered with a piece of cloth with triangular shape and put on your neck like a necklace. It's believed that it protects you from bad things etc. And I believe the soft matter in cevizli sucuk is made of mulberry or grapes 😃

I'll tell you about the walnut sausage. We're going to vineyard grapes first. Then we go to the market and get a bag of walnuts. We separate the nut shell from the shell and move the nut together with the help of needles and ropes. Then we boil the grape in a large pot and we soak the walnuts we've put in the ropes two or three times in the grapes that we boil. Then we put him on a rope. After three or four days, the grapes we boil edit and become a walnut sausage. I hope you understand the english I wrote.😊
