Agree with the comment that there wasn't much to this game when it first released. With the past two updates from the developer, it's expanded the number of locations, unit types, unit abilities, and the tech tree. It's easy to see the time and dedication that was put into all aspects to greatly improve the core gameplay.

The rebels make a great addition to your forces adding a little bit of specialization to your loadout. My personal favorite is a anti tank platoon made up of rocket dudes and the snipers who inflict weakness on whatever they shoot so they sort out tanks with a speed that just wasn't possible with making your whole fortress based around it.

You do not need to build anything to deploy BOLO or Star Destroyer in the battle. You do it like you did this with rebel's deploying. Check little lower under line with rebel's squad icons.

Whoah this is insane.. The gameplay loop of this is LITERALLY the stratagem I designed for my custom Titanicus Legion for 40k. They shoot out titan arms from orbit, modified with gun ports and energy fields behind the planetary thrusters that come off in decent, so when they land and embed themselves into the ground, the Secutarii Hoplites and Peltasts create a solid line at the barrier of the field, while the guns open fire above them as covering fire, allowing them to take ground on the offensive without the need for an entire Titan to be on standby. What a weird world.

If you make a really balanced base that can handle any type of attack, the difficulty tends to make relative sense, but if you focus on one particular thing (like anti-ground) and forget to ever make anti-air stuff, even an easy mission will be brutal if it's all air units.

Looks a bit different from when i last played. Infact the first time the boss showed up i won, it was close, don't ask me how, i actually don't know. Played the game through in one go. I want to love this. But the constant moving around, looking for targets is bothering me. You saw it in the last battle. You missed a bomber and it hurt. I like a more static map rather than the move to see everything.

You don't need to look all the map for targets, you can use your troops to help you with that, since they always position themselves depending where the enemy is, it includes flares and enemies that are still out of bounds
