Joy in the morning is from Psalm 30 which is a Psalm about the founding of the temple pointing to the founding of the greater temple, the church. By many Jewish traditions was read on ... wait for it.... Sunday. The ultimate joy in the morning was with the Sunday morning Jesus rose. As is often the case in the book of Psalms, God does something big, in this case the founding of the church/temple in Psalm 30, joy following sorrow,.
